For the 2026 edition of CEDA’s flagship biennial conference, the client commissioned a visual template for the event’s new website. Recognised as the leading conference for the dredging sector across the EMEA region, Dredging Days brings together maritime and dredging professionals to exchange insights, address industry challenges and foster collaboration. Having worked extensively on branding and communication for the previous edition, we were given greater creative freedom to develop a distinctive visual identity—one that could evolve with future locations.

The first step was designing a logo for the 2026 edition, incorporating the skyline of Antwerp, the host city. As each edition is held in a new location, this approach offered a flexible framework for future adaptations. The header design used imagery and colour to energise the layout, drawing from the existing CEDA palette while introducing bespoke elements. Typography was selected from the options available on the client’s chosen platform, curated to maintain visual continuity with previous editions while supporting the refreshed identity. The final design balanced familiarity with a bold, location-specific presence.
