CHIRP Maritime is a confidential incident and near-miss reporting programme for the maritime industry, designed to improve safety at sea by investigating reports and sharing anonymised findings. These insights raise awareness and encourage behavioural change across the sector. To support its outreach and communication objectives, the charity commissioned Intent Communications Limited to develop new materials.

A bespoke presentation folder was created for distribution to maritime organisations and their staff, containing tailored information packets for different stakeholder groups. The design was shaped by the content it needed to convey, using the existing brand palette to craft a fresh, professional visual approach. Graphics- including pie charts, maps and infographics- were developed to present curated information in a clear, engaging and easily digestible format.

The designs offered a cohesive set of materials that supported CHIRP’s mission, enhanced stakeholder engagement and reinforced its commitment to safety and transparency within the maritime industry.
