ASPIRATIONS THAT WE

The Women in Maritime Survey is a biennial global initiative conducted under the aegis of International Maritime Organisation (IMO) & Women's International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA), serving as a vital diagnostic of industry health and gender representation. A report analysing and summarising the findings of the 2024 Survey was created, working with Intent Communications Limited- authors of the survey and report.

The authors provided content in the form of Excel tables and accompanying text, requiring us to curate a visual structure and language. A major focus of the project was therefore crafting visuals and communication that were efficient, effective, and aesthetically cohesive. Maps and graphs were built from scratch, referencing the previous edition to ensure continuity. A fresh layout and template were developed specifically for this report, with final designs and outputs delivered for both print and digital formats.

The scope of the project was extended in August, when we worked directly with the International Maritime Organisation to adapt the online version of the report for French and Spanish translations, ensuring global accessibility and consistency across languages.
